Image your character-Legend

I think Day would be Sporty and June would be Nerdy.The reason why I think this is because how they are in the story.Day is always on the run away from the military,cops,Metais but he's dead now.He's always doing athletic thngs besides of June she is just standing around trying to find out stuff.She is smart and knows how to persuade people like she is doing Day.So thats why I think June is Nerdy.

Day sometimes I can see him turning his work in,but most of the time no I can't see him doing that.One reason is he never really got his education,so theirs my piont.June on the other hand wouldturn her work in before it's do.She went to the top school in California.That would be Drake where they'll only let you pass if you had the money or intelegence.

Day wouldn't want to really make friends,but at the same time he would have a lot since he would probably be a sports player.June would try to make friends and would be successful at it because she's smart,knows how to make friends,and can persuade you,she is really good at that.  

What Would Day Be Like If He Were In School

 Day would be almost the most popular kid in the school since he would get in a fight with somebody and even if he didn't, everybody would know him. Day would be a sporty person because he isn't afraid to get hurt, he comes up with great plans to accomplish his goal, he is super fast, and more.

Day would probably not turn in his work on time because he just might forget because his mind is on something else, also because he would be around a badbot type. If Day was a high school aged student, then he would probably go from school to school because he has been fighting everyone, probably because they talked about his mom. Day would start to become a good guy but when someone pushes his buttons or takes it too far, then they will get suspended and Day will transfer schools for fighting again.

Weak or Strong?

I rate my character Day as a strong character.  Why I think this is because Day goes around doing crimes and weak characters wouldn't do that, also Day never gives up, he keeps trying.  I think everyone in my group thinks that Day is a strong character because we have all agreed that Day is a bad person sometimes.  But not to his family.  I think after Day gets out of the situation that he is in right now I think hes going to be that same Day!  Why I think this is because I think many people in the past have tried to change him but didn't work so why would one more person change him?  As a result I believe that Day will still stay a strong character.

Letter to Day

If I could talk to Day I would say that ''Day I am glad you were caught but also, I want you to know that June will help you''. She is only going to because she feels sympathy that your mom died. She has also had her brother dead and she knows how you feel since someone in her family has died. This would be much different if you didn't like her enough to kiss her one-on-one. Now look what you have done Thomas is jealous he didn't get a kiss from her.

June  has figured out that you didn't kill her brother ,but the odds are that you did because who else would have done it. I hope you know that June will forgive you, but I don't she will take your apologies for very long. Sorry to say it but you were the one who killed Junes's brother. Just to say good luck with this whole situation.I hope you know that if you escape then the guards will want to arrest you even more.

Character Ratings

We rated our character between the middle and the strongest because he is really strong since he is going through some things as his mom dying and him being be-traded on by June but also him being thrown in jail. All of this stuff is happening to him and he is slouching or sitting there crying, he is still on his feet and trying to get out of jail so he can finish the mission that he started.

 My group members rating did compare because we had all put them somewhere in between the middle and the strongest but then, my other group member isn't here today but me and my other group member(s) put them around the same place.

 I believe that our character will move up to be stronger later on in the book because I think that he will escape jail and give the people what they want and don't forget about his mom, but do what he supposed to do. I also think that he will  try his best to get revenge on Commander Jameson.

Who Is Marie Lu?

My authors name is Marie Lu.  Pretty name right!  Marie Lu was born on July 11, 1984, and is 31 years of age.  The cool part is that her birthday is a day after mine.  Marie has written lots of books but the recent one she has published and written in 2015 is The Rose Society.  It seems like she publishes a book every year!  Between 2011-2015 Marie has published Ledgend, Prodigy, Champion, The Young Elites, and of course The Rose Society.  If you haven't noticed, there's a Legend series.  The book i'm really focusing on is the book Legend.  Why I think Marie Lu wrote this book is because when I researched about her I found out that she had militarized future, and Legend is about this girl name June she is in the military pretty much and that she is a soldier.

The Author Of "Legend"

 My author's name is Marie Lu and she has written about 10-16 books. They all seem really good and fine to read and they all look really interesting. The books that she has written were Legend, Prodigy, The Young Elites, Champion, The Rose Society, Spirit Animals, Life Before Legend, Prodigy: Collector's Edition, The Legend Trilogy Collection, Young Elites 9 copy, Legend Series Sampler, The Young Elites 02, Breathless Reads Sampler, The Legend Trilogy, Legend Rebeliant, Prodigy (e-book).

I know that she has written many other books in the past and then they all lead up to this one. So I think that she had written Legend because The Story wasn't over and Day and June needed something more to do, but I think that she had actually written it because she wanted something to do and thought about writing a book and calling it Legend because maybe later on, Day will become a Legend for his town.

Author Research-Legend

Marie Lu is an author who writes lots of novels,but is mainly known for the Legend Series.She came to the United States of America when she was only 5 and that was when the Tiananmen square protest was going on.She was born 1984 in Wuxi,China.When Marie Lu and her family moved out of China the went to Georgia,and that was in 1989.

She attended the University of Southern California and interned at Disney Interactive Studios.Did you know she was a Art Designer for the video game industry before she was an author or writing her first book in general.She currently lives in Pasadena,California and she writes more than she designs so she puts the designing off to the side for a little bit."Marie Lu's advice to aspiring writers is not being afraid of writing something bad. She recommends finishing something and then going back to it."

Marie Lu is an American young adult author. She is best known for the Legend series. She was born July 11, 1984 in Wuxi China. She's made 22 books and counting. The reason why I think she made the series is based off of China because of all the new and upcoming technology. And telling a story about someone she knew but wasn't a crime she just based off him and if he were bad that would be the stuff he would do.

Marie Lu is the author of Legend. Marie Lu has wrote these books Champion, Prodigy, Young Elite, all these books within 5 years. Some of them are a with a group even sequels.I think  she made these books for more entertainment, these books get better and better when you keep reading. She might want more people to read and so she makes them interesting. This book was more mystery and love at the same time she might just like those types of books, and like to mix and combine books. More of the book is making more sense.-

What I Would Say If I Could Talk To The Main Characters

If I were able to talk to Day and June, I would say to Day, "Why did you steal all that stuff and keep hiding in the shadows. Why don't you just fess-up and go to Commander." For June I would ask why did she snitch on Day and Why didn't she try hard to stand up for him. I would ask them that because that is what they did and I don't know why so I would like to know.

I would ask Commander why he wants to kill or severely  harm Day and why he would kill his mother right in front of him. Is it because he wanted the attention, is it because he wanted him to feel sad and bummed out so they can get him.

My Books Main Conflict!

One of the characters in my book named, June is struggling right now because her only family member which is her brother, Metias died.  Why I picked June instead of Day is because all problems that are happening right now are all pointing at Junes side.  Another conflict that is putting the situation farther is when the two characters meet then one of them walks away.  I don't think the charters will solve the conflict without causing harm because June was meeting up with Day so she could trap him a kill him.  As you can see she doesn't like him.  I think the the conflict is also Man V.S. Man.  Why I think this is because its pretty much character against character, they don't like each other, and want to kill each other pretty much.  But I think June wants to kill Day more than the other way around because of what he did to her brother and her only family member left.

Blog 2

There is a character in my book named Day and he has a problem with killing people. Day is struggling with himself. The events is when he's killing everyone and I don't think he wants to he just want's to help his family. I don't think he will I think it's going to be a habit now.

Main conflict

June is struggling over the fact that her brother died. She is trying also to do good in military training and trying to take her brothers place. The military general said that it is her turn to take charge of being a general. The problem is that Day is in pain after hearing her brother is dead. Things that have got in Junes way is that she has to go into training and when the officers beats the prisoner.Then she has to look away to make herself feel much better, this could cause more problem in the future when the capturing people. She might be a little bit soft because she is a girl. I don't think that the characters can solve it without harming, becuase Day has already killed multiple crimes.

Main Conflict

The characters are struggling with try to get caught by a police. One complicated conflict is Man vs Society because a lot of people are trying to capture them. I think that the characters will solve the conflict by not doing anymore crimes. One of the crimes that day did was he went to his dad's work and took a ball and lit it up to throw out the window. One other crime was he was at a hospital and he had knifes in his shoe and had to get to the third floor.

The Conflicts Of The Story

 I believe that my book is about Man VS Nature because our character (Day) is a wanted criminal and everybody is looking for him. It can also be Man VS Nature because they do not have anywhere to live right now so they are moving from place to place and they can get severely damaged. It may also be Man VS Man, it can be that because the captain of the soldiers is the one mainly actually looking for him and wanting to harm him. Day is going around struggling with food and water so they will have to take/steal it. Things that are making it worse is that Tess falls and I think forgot about Day because Tess was crying and as Day came up to her, she started whimpering and crying and repeatedly kept saying please. She thought that Day was going to hurt her and Day didn't get why she would think that.

The Conflict in the story-Legend

The main conflict in the story is man vs society.Day is struggleing with hidding from the goverment,but he still try's to watch and support his family.man vs nature because the diseas is spreading around the city of Los Angeles,California and effecting people around the city,and has no where to live in the city.Additionally that leads to Day thinking about his family so he watching his family while the soldiers are looking for him.It could be man.man because the young captin Metias is on awild goose chase for Day.

The main characters

let talk about Day. Day is a criminal, some of the crimes he has done are assault, arson, theft, destruction of military property these are just some of the crime that has made him "Famous" for being the most wanted person.

On the other hand June has gotten a perfect score on a test which determinants how much education you will have. He got a 1500 out of 1500 which is basically not herd of. He is vary smart but he get in trouble a lot in school which is a luxury to have at all.

I don't really like June the reason for the opinion is because he knows he's smart but he makes himself seem not that intelligent by the way he acts.

The main character is day and he said his mother thinks he is day. Day bad person because he is doing crimes and he hasn't got caught yet.

Legend Questions

Since Day has been in trouble for assault, arson, theft, destruction of military property, and hindering. I think this is more impressive as I think about it. If day keeps at his best with all of these crimes then will police every find him? Day has seen the bad and the reason he is going to steal stuff at the hospital is for his mom to help with her problems and he is just trying to help his family out. He can't do this without having to break some of the rules in life and laws. Day has a brother and sister who both think that he is dead, but they don't know that he is hiding, and trying to help their family out. On the process well Day kind of gets caught and then runs for his life until he is face to face with a general and then ends the generals life in .02 seconds. Day is now in the sewer in big trouble and looking for a way out and needs help. This is not the best situation to be in if you are Day. This could led to some unfortunate events in the ending of the book.

My Lit Circle group had a lot of great discussions,but the thing we talked about the most was will June and Day.Will they ever get caught by the soldiers in the city.Everyone is looking for Day because he is a criminal in the state of California and other states to.On the Other hand the University of Drake thinks June cheat on her trail so they are spying on her,keeping a eye out on her.Again Day threw a knife at the Captain and went into the darkness,He was hurt we he did it to so we have yet to find out,what happens next.

One Of The Main Characters, Day!

The main character Day is wanted for Assault, Arson, Theft, etc.  He also has killed Metias.  That tells me that Day is really dangerous, and likes to cause a lot of trouble, by his actions.  What I have learned about Days likes is that, he really loves to start drama and really likes weapons.  His dislikes is that hes doesn't like soldiers goes to peoples houses, and he doesn't like Metias.  I dislike Day because hes so dangerous, and causes a lot of drama.  But then again i do like him because hes really sweet to his cousin and really looks out and cares for his family, also he does everything he can to help out with his family since they don't have that much money.

   In my story they're 2 main characters in my story name Day and June and my main character is June so i'll be talking about her.June is a smart girl going to Drake University and always raises her hand in class.She got a perfect score on her trail,but the people think she was up to something.She was a perfect girl in her mind ,but not outside to others.She was a higher class family so she could go to schools and colleges stuff like that.My other main character is day and he is a USA wanted criminal.He wants to see his family,but not seeing them is the only way to keep them safe.His family was one of the lower class families so they could be token away at any point.And those are my main characters.

Who I Think The Main Character Is

Day is the main character that I am choosing because I think that he is more important and better than June. I think this because June is a show-off and acts like she is a little bit better. I like Day because he is the most wanted criminal, but he's doing it for  somebody and I think that it is his mom. He doesn't like to be away from his family but he is doing it because he knows that is what is going or would keep them safe.

My name is Fernando for next 3 weeks I will be reading and posting on the book legend. Most books that I read have a lot of movement in where the characters live and are. The reason that I choose legend was because it has a very different feel than most books that I read.

My name is Anthony for the next 3 weeks i will be reading and making questions about the book i'm reading for my group.Ziah is a good reader he pays attention in the class and can read fast.Fernando is a slow pace reader,he'll take his time when he reads and he'll know the good,juicy details in the story.Because when I raed the back I wanted to jump into the story.It sounded really good.

My name is Ziah, I am pretty good at reading but not super fast at doing it but i'm not super slow either. I like to read stories about action, adventure, or mystery, I like to read but not all books. Anthony reads pretty fast but not slow at all, so regular, Fernando can actually read pretty fast. I picked this book because it sounded like it had adventure and it was awesome or good.
